A special emotional bond develops between a parent and baby during the first year, called the attachment bond. In order to strengthen the attachment bond, as much time as possible should be spent with the baby. The dad is just as important in the development of the baby as the mom. That’s why we have created “Daddy and Me” water therapy with touch and action, the main goal of which is to enable father and baby to go through the entire session together. Of course, the mom can also come to the session, in case the baby needs breastfeeding.
Every session includes instructor-led neonatal touch and activity training and 10-20 minute water float therapy session.
During touch and activity training the instructor will teach the dad how to support the development of the baby, including touching and petting. Also, she will demonstrate age-appropriate techniques considering your baby’s mood and activity need.
During each float session, infants wear a specially desinged, patented floation device around their necks which enables the baby to move freely in the water without influence from gravity. Thus, your baby can independently learn new body movements and the instructor is there to help and assist the dad in order to develop the potentials in this small body.
At the age of 0-3 months, each baby bathes in an individual water tub, which avoids the risk of infection after birth.
At the age of 3-6 months, babies continue to swim in the shared pool. It’s time to learn new skills, socialize and float together with new friends.
Water therapy is not recommended on the day of vaccination
